Our Quarantine Ordinances, Nos. 7 and 54 of 1936,

conform with the International Sanitary Convention, 1926,

and have the approval of the Ministry of Health in England.

The importation into the Colony of cargo which is not entered

on the ships manifests has been prohibited since 1932

(Ordinance No.14 of 1932 and Notification No.773 of 1932) and

is aimed at the prevention of smuggling by ships crews.

Cargo carried on through manifests is not interfered with.

The furnishing of passenger lists is required by

Ordinance No.3 of 1934, in the case of all passenger ships.
